Farewell, Meredith Grey

Every so often, we are Aero Mock-Ups are a part of history, and we get to witness such things.

Last year, we were tasked with building out our Exrta Wide Body Plane Set at our North Hollywood location, and hosting a very special crew of Grey’s Anatomy. This episode is particularly special because it is the final featuring Ellen Pompeo as Meredith Grey in a full-time capacity.

Take a look at some of the screenshots, and how beautiful our sets look below:

And for even more fun, here are some behind-the-scenes images:

Jack Harlow x VMA 2022 Performance

Last week, we had an incredible opportunity to pack up and ship out to Newark, NJ for the 2022 MTV VMAs.

If you know Jack Harlow, we guess you can figure out which song he performed, while we accompanied. That’s right, the mega-hit First Class.

He brought out the legend herself, Fergie to make things even cooler.

They used our New York Narrow Body set and our blue Swiss BC Seats.

“Grey’s Anatomy” Season Finale Plane Set!

We were honored to be a part of an iconic series – Grey’s Anatomy.

We set up 30 feet of our Narrow Body Rolling Set on their stages in Los Angeles, and what a great time it was!

Movie Magic with an Airplane Set

Did you know that with just a little imagination and some creative camera angles, you can use something with a small footprint, to make a bigger bang?

A few years ago, we haed the opportunity to work with Sam Taylor-Johnson and her husband, Aaron, on their feature A Million Little Pieces – for a very poignant scene.

For this, we set up in a small auditorium and used our smaller set-piece – 14′ ONE-SIDE “KIT” CABIN SETS. Take a look at what you saw on screen:

Now take a look at some behind the scenes shots:

HBO’s “Winning Time” Airplane Set @ AMU

Over the summer of 2021, we had the incredible opportunity to build the most extensive set we’re ever had at our stages at our North Hollywood Location (we have created larger sets offsite at other locations with more space).

What started off as a challenge, became one of the most exciting and memorable experiences in our careers.

HBO‘s hit show Winning Time is set in the late 1970’s, the creatives chose to use our AA Seats in the First class section, and our 737 Coach Seats in the Coach section – all within our Extra Wide Body set- the set was incredible, reaching about 65 feet in length.
